Blogs and Romance Writers

Hey, writers, check this out - Lorelle on WordPress is going to be speaking about blogging at the Romance Writers of America (RWA) San Francisco chapter. To find out more, read her Blogging Romance with Lorelle in San Francisco post.

She also wrote a interesting article on the Blog Herald, titled The Art of the Artist Web Design Collaboration. In it, she validated my own feeling that the blog is a stage. And with that description alone, an artist is much more willing to jump onboard. But more importantly, she includes major things to consider when trying to brand/sell yourself on the web via your blog.

The SF chapter event sounds fabulous and a great prelude to this year’s RWA Annual Conference in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to either event. How about you?

Ah, shucks. Why not? Maybe it’s time to get your priorities straight, missy. :D

It would be great to see you there and it’s going to be so much fun. I can’t wait to meet fellow writers and authors and hear what they have to say about the issues that face them online, and hopefully, resolve a few of their challenges.

    Thanks!

I won’t make it either, but Lorelle is the bomb, isn’t she? Love your new blog, Kathy…you never cease to amaze me! I’m looking for your Las Vegas blog…it’s here somewhere…
